SUBMISSION AND REVIEW GUIDELINES

GENERAL RULES

1. This contest stimulates and encourages researchers to write, present, and publish original research in the three clusters; namely:

    • Computer science
    • Information technology
    • Special Topics

2. The contest is open to all research enthusiasts in the country. Researchers may submit more than one entry in the three categories. All entries must NOT HAVE been presented or published in any conferences, conventions, or journal publications.

3. All presenters will receive a Certificate of Presentation and a Certificate of Recognition.

4. The evaluators will pre-judge all papers in all clusters (3 evaluators per cluster) accordingly before the event scheduled date.

5. The oral presentation will be done on April 12,2024, through a pre-recorded video. All presenters will submit their pre-recorded videos on or before April 7, 2024.

Kindly scan your Payment Receipt / Deposit Slip and submit it via the Google form provided for the Paper Presentation. The deadline for payment for the presentation is April 9, 2024. Only those whose payments are received on or before April 9, 2024, will be included in the conference proceedings.

MECHANICS:

1.Submit all entries (full papers and pre-recorded videos) electronically to secretariat@citedh-r1.org in PDF by April 7, 2024, 12:00 Midnight via your Google Drive account, using the CRRCISC 2024 standard format in IMRaD style available at bit.ly/crrcite2023_ResearchTemplate.

2. Full papers should include original (PDF) and anonymized (PDF and WORD) versions, following the provided instructions. Entries will be judged based on specific criteria.

4. Pre-judging scores will be converted to seventy percent (70%) of the final score.

5. For the Pre-recorded Videos: Pre-recorded videos must be labeled as “Cluster_name – Presenter’s FULL NAME”. Pre-recorded videos must be prepared with a resolution of high definition (720p or 1080p), preferably saved in MP4 format. The presenter is required to be virtually visible in the pre-recorded video presentation. Pre-recorded videos must be completed in a maximum of ten (10) minutes.

6. Pre-recorded videos will be played in three per batch, with five (5) minutes to answer questions thereafter. Each of the judges may ask one (1) question, with one (1) follow-up.

7. The oral presentations will comprise 30% of the 100% and will be added to the pre-judging score of 70%. The presentation will be rated using the criteria below:

6. Best Presenter and Best Paper in each cluster will be announced during the closing program of the Conference.

7. The decision of the Board of Judges is FINAL.
